Where your parcel is, why tracking sometimes stalls, and when to ask us to chase it.
Short answer Tracking is emailed when the parcel leaves us, which is one to two business days after you order — not at the moment of purchase. Allow up to 24 hours after despatch for the first carrier scan.
How to track

Check your email for the despatch notice
We email a tracking number when the parcel leaves us, not when the order is placed. An order confirmation with no despatch notice means it is still being picked.

Every order and its tracking number is listed under My account.

Follow the number on the carrier’s site
Tracking is the carrier’s system. It can take up to 24 hours after despatch before the first scan appears.

Tracking has not moved
A parcel that sits on the same scan for a day or two is normal — ground freight is scanned at hubs, not continuously, and a long leg between hubs can look like a stall.
Tell us if tracking has not moved for five business days. We will open a trace with the carrier. Email support@hilltoparmoryllc.com with your order number.
If tracking shows delivered but nothing arrived, check with everyone at the address first, then contact us the same day. Ammunition requires a signature, so a genuine delivery has a name attached that we can ask the carrier to produce.
Why you may have more than one tracking number
Ammunition, primers and powder cannot share a carton, and heavy orders are split across boxes. Each parcel is tracked separately and they often arrive on different days. A short order is usually the rest of the shipment still in transit.
I have an order confirmation but no tracking number.
Tracking is issued when the parcel leaves us, one to two business days after the order. Until then there is no number to give you.
Tracking says delivered but nothing arrived.
Check with everyone at the address, then contact us the same day. Ammunition deliveries require a signature, so the carrier holds a record of who signed.
Can I change the delivery address after ordering?
Only before the parcel is handed to the carrier, and only to an address in a state we can ship to. Email us immediately.
